The Dynamo this week will play a second consecutive game without an official head coach or interim coach.
President Chris Canetti on Sunday night said the club is not likely to make any firm moves in advance of Thursday's road game against FC Dallas. That includes naming an interim coach, which Canetti said last week would be a possibility after Saturday's game in Vancouver.
The Dynamo tied the Whitecaps, 1-1, for their first point in seven road games this season. They were playing their first game without Owen Coyle as head coach after the second-year boss reached a mutual agreement Wednesday to part ways with the team.
